City of Stonnington – Prahran Square
The Problem
Over several years, CIty of Stonnington undertook Prahran Square, a major construction project in the heart of their community, transforming a public car park into an underground car park with facilities for electric cars beneath a multi-functional public square, including fountains, green space, an urban forest and more.
Given the duration and impact of the construction, City of Stonnington required multiple videos through-out the project to keep their community and local residents informed of changes in parking availability, road access, facilities and more.
The Solution
DOTF worked with the City of Stonnington across the full duration of the Prahran Square project, creating a range of videos, from the project announcement to public launch video, including a series of videos highlighting project progress and changes in parking availability.
Given the informative nature of the content, DOTF focused on visuals which emphasised messaging – such as animated maps for road and parking access, and presented an exciting narrative across the construction and eventual project reveal, with a cohesive aesthetic in line with the City of Stonnington style guide and cinematic look, proving that PSAs can look good and engage.
