LaTrobe University X NGV – Living Landscapes
The Problem
LaTrobe University and the NGV collaborated on the Living Landscapes project, centring around the plant-focused David Hockney exhibition and giving NGV attendees the chance to design a tree and plant it in a virtual forest. This virtual forest was mapped to property as part of La Trobe’s Wildlife Sanctuary and a real native tree was planted for every virtual tree as part of environmental rejuventation.
In order to capture the essence of the collaboration, La Trobe required a series of video content that promoted their relationship with the NGV and the success of this project as a case study for future partnerships (to be used by both the NGV and La Trobe) and project award submissions, and well as promotional content for prospective students.
The Solution
Getting the balance between multiple stakeholders can be difficult. In order to cater to the messaging needs of both LaTrobe University and NGV, we worked closely with all stakeholders, producing three videos in beautiful cinematic style that captured the project, the NGV Summer School Initiative and LaTrobe’s Inspired Learning offering. Shooting on location with our premium cinematographers and centring messaging delivery around each subjects natural conversational style created a series of authentic and stunning videos.
